Education: Japanese lecturer highlights Indus Valley

SUKKUR: Indus Valley is an important and the only corridor for people trying to move in or out of South Asia from the westward that is Arabia, West and Central Asia, via terrestrial movement. These views were shared by A. Noguchi from Meiji University, Japan, during a lecture on ‘Modern Human Continental Dispersal: A view from Veesar Valley of the Thar Desert, Sindh, Pakistan’ at the Shah Abdul Latif University (Salu), Khairpur. The lecture was jointly organised by Salu’s department of archaeology and Pak-Japan Archaeological Mission.
