KARACHI:
The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has started a Dow Health Screening Programme with mobile and in-house executive check-up programme for employees and executives of different organisations. Assessment and annual check-up facilities are part of the programme.
The launch ceremony was organised for its first partner, Merit Packaging, on Thursday at the Ojha campus.
The mobile health screening programme is designed to provide health checkups with diagnostic tests, including a physical examination. According to DUHS, the in-house executive check-up programme is designed to provide complete health solutions for busy company executives, comprising different packages designed to diagnose illness at early stages.
DUHS vice-chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan emphasised the importance of health screening and termed it a unique idea. He said the team of doctors for the programme completed on-site clinical examinations of various employees within just seven days.
