Unexplained: Couple found dead, 11 injured in mishap

The bodies were brought to district headquarters (DHQ) hospital where they were identified as Muzamil and his spouse.

BANNU: A man and his wife were found dead in Torkala area of the district on Monday. The bodies were brought to district headquarters (DHQ) hospital where they were identified as Muzamil, a resident of Dosali North Waziristan, and his spouse Din Bibi, a resident of Torkala. No FIR was registered till the filing of this report. Meanwhile, eleven people were injured when a tractor and ambulance collided at Abshar Chowk on Kohat road. Basiakhel SHO said the ambulance was shifting a woman’s body from Peshawar to Bannu at around 5am when it collided with the trolley-tractor. As a result, the driver of the ambulance, Inamullah Khan, and 10 others were wounded. The injured were taken to DHQ Hospital and an FIR was registered. The ambulance’s driver claimed the tractor lost control and rammed into their vehicle.
