Robber killed, house owner injured in shootout
The shootout resulted in the death of one of the robbers. Zeeshan too was injured.
FAISALABAD:
A man was killed and another was injured on Friday when armed robbers broke into a house during a wedding in Chak Jhumra. A police spokesman told the media that nearly 20 robbers took away 60 tolas of gold, Rs700,000 in cash, 20 mobile phones and other valuables from the guests.
He said Zeeshan Babu, the house owner, and his men had an exchange of fire with the robbers during the robbery. The shootout resulted in the death of one of the robbers. Zeeshan too was injured.
