HARIPUR: A man took his own life in a village in Haripur on Thursday. Feroz Din, a resident of Kelag, explained his 21-year-old son Rashid had been employed as a driver in Taxila for the last few months. On Wednesday, Rashid came home and went straight to his room. Early Thursday morning his family members heard a gunshot and ran towards Rashid’s room where they found him seriously injured. Rashid was taken to the Women and Children Hospital but succumbed to his injuries before first aid could be administered. Feroz Din said he did not know the reasons behind his son’s suicide.
