Afridi orders Ehsaas Ramazan Dastarkhwan

K-P Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations for Ramazan and directed authorities to ensure maximum relief to the public during the holy month.

The chief minister instructed that essential food items must be made available at officially notified rates and effective price control mechanisms should be enforced.

He directed that Ehsaas Ramazan Dastarkhwan be established in all districts and at entry points across the province while quality Sehri and Iftar meals be provided at orphanages Darul Aman and shelter homes.

Under the Ehsaas Ramazan Package the chief minister ordered that payment of Rs12,500 to deserving families be completed by the eighth fast with priority given to orphans widows the poor and persons with disabilities.
