Newly minted: Muqam censures PTI, ANP over poor governance
“Durable peace in the country is our first priority and our party’s stance is clear on drone attacks,” says Muqam.
MINGORA:
“Those who collected votes from the trusting public of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are now rolling in power and have forgotten about the people,” stated Adviser to Prime Minister Ameer Muqam on Thursday.
At the first gathering after his appointment as an adviser, Muqam was welcomed at his house in Sangota by party workers amid a festive atmosphere.
“Durable peace in the country is our first priority and our party’s stance is clear on drone attacks,” stated Muqam, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice president.
“Those who complain about the Sharif brothers have completely failed to control the dengue outbreak in Swat.”
He added federal institutions should be ready to provide service to the public and no negligence will be tolerated.
Criticising the Awami National Party (ANP), Muqam reminded his audience he had earlier called the ANP “a party of looters” and Azam Hoti has endorsed this.
“The ANP should shun politics forever as it could achieve nothing in its tenure.”
Muqam told party workers they “must be ready for local government elections in which PML-N will make a clean sweep.”
