Did You Know? Jonas Brothers leave fans shattered post-split

“There is a deep rift within the band,” said a representative.

The popular trio hasn’t been so easy on their loyal fans this year. Around three weeks back, the Jonas Brothers cancelled their fall US tour over ‘creative differences’, according to E Online. “There is a deep rift within the band,” said a representative. “There was a big disagreement over their music direction.”

However, if that wasn’t enough for their anxious fans, they have recently announced that they are calling it quits. According to People magazine, it was a unanimous decision. 21-year-old Nick said, “It’s really hard to say, “Forever, we’re closing a chapter, for sure.”

The announcement followed a meeting on October 3 when Nick told his brothers of his concerns about the group’s future. “I was feeling kind of trapped,” added Nick. “I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”

No matter how fans feel, it seems that the JoBro days are now in the past. “Joe wants to do acting and art and his own music,” said a source. “He’s passionate and has his own set of goals. Kevin wants to focus on being a dad,” the insider continues. “He can’t wait for Danielle [his wife] to have their baby. His priorities have changed. [Whereas] Nick wants to focus on music and Broadway.”

The Jonas Brothers released their last studio album in 2009.
