Collaboration: Pakistan, Spain explore trade expansion

Banegas hoped that both Spain and Pakistan could add to each other’s prosperity by strengthening trade.

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Commerce and Textile Industry, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan led the delegation to Spain as part of the series of consultations undertaken by the government to promote and strengthen trade linkages with important trading partners. The delegation commenced amid candid interaction with the prominent private entrepreneurs of Spain under the auspices of Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE). President CEOE, Jesus Banegas hoped that both Spain and Pakistan could add to each other’s prosperity by strengthening trade and economic links. Khan invited the Spanish companies for collaboration in various sectors including energy, infrastructure, construction, agriculture, and livestock and said that this could pave ways for new commercial vistas for Pakistan.
