Following procedures: Minister condemns ‘incorrect’ postings
Transfers and postings are allowed in extreme conditions but strictly prohibited if done on personal preference.
KARACHI:
Sindh Minister for Local Government Syed Owais Muzaffar has denounced the transfers and postings of officers of grade 17 and above without permission from the relevant authorities. All institutions requiring a transfer or posting should forward three names of officers for the position, citing reasons for their recommendations, said a directive issued by the minister to all institutional heads. He discouraged transfers and postings, stating that officers should be allowed time to perform to the best of their abilities, rather than be transferred. However, transfers and postings are allowed in extreme conditions but they are strictly prohibited if done on the basis of personal preference.
