Jubilation firing: Six-year-old shot

The body was taken to tehsil headquarters hospital for a post-mortem examination.

A child was shot at a wedding ceremony on Monday when some guests started firing in the air to welcome the bridegroom. Silanwali police said Ulfat Hussain and his friends started firing in the air in a village in 126-NB during a wedding ceremony at the house of one Muhammad Saeed. A bullet hit a six-year-old boy, Muhammad Amin, killing him on the spot. The body was taken to tehsil headquarters hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case was registered against Hussain and his friends. Separately, Kirana and Shahpur police arrested 32 people for jubilation firing at wedding ceremonies in various areas.
