A police official went missing when he was on duty at Officer Colony check post, Bannu Cantonment on Saturday. An official of Bannu Cantonment Police said Head Constable Anjum Saeed, resident of Koti Saadat, left home for duty on October 22 but didn’t reach his workplace. The police launched a search operation in the surrounding areas but couldn’t find Saeed. His fellow officers believe he might have been kidnapped, since he had been kidnapped six months ago by unidentified armed men who later released Saeed themselves.
