Youtube to be opened soon: Pervez Rasheed
Minister says efforts will be made to get the access to information bill turned into a law.

Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed reiterated on Saturday that the government will open Youtube shortly and use filters on the website for additional protection, Express News reported.
The minister, while speaking to the media in Lahore, said that efforts will be made to get the access to information bill passed from the Parliament and be made into a law.
Earlier this month, he had said the government had decided to restore Youtube 'in principle', and repeated this on Saturday. The video sharing website has been banned in Pakistan for the past 404 days.
In response to questions from reporters that the government was well aware of the security problems pervading the country.
The minister said drones were detrimental to the sovereignty of Pakistan and the government had taken effective measures to improve the country's law and order and economy.
