Education: ‘Teachers should build students’ character’
Provincial Prisons Minister Abdul Waheed Arain says teachers were preachers, nation builders and instructors.

“In addition to imparting knowledge, teachers should also work on character building of students,” Provincial Prisons Minister Abdul Waheed Arain said on Friday. He was speaking at a prize distribution ceremony at the City College of Science and Commerce.
The minister said teachers were preachers, nation builders and instructors. “They have to nurture the future of the country,” he said. Arain said he hoped that the country’s future was bright and in safe hands. He congratulated the college’s administration on securing top positions. He said the provincial government and the chief minister were proud of Farheen Fatima Khan, who came first in higher secondary school certificate examinations.
