LAHORE:
Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu of the Lahore High Court on Friday directed the head of the team investigating the Future Concern fraud case to file his findings by November 15.
Petitioners’ counsel submitted that the accused, Asim Malik, CEO of the immigration consultancy firm Future Concern, and his wife had fraudulently taken money from their clients by promising to send them abroad. They said law enforcement agencies had not arrested them and had also failed to recover their money.
The judge directed the investigation team to complete the investigation and file their report before the court at the next hearing.
The court was informed that the FIA has registered 157 cases against Malik. The court was told at a previous hearing that passports of the couple had been cancelled.
