ZTBL, Lyallpur FC register narrow wins

Both teams win by 1-0; HBL defeat Baloch FC in PPFL.

KARACHI: ZTBL registered their second win in the Pakistan Premier Football League when they defeated NBP 1-0 at the Korangi Baloch Stadium yesterday.

Muhammad Naeem scored an early winner in the fifth minute to seal the points.

With the win, ZTBL moved into 10th place, with five draws and three defeats. They have 11 points after 10 matches.

Meanwhile, NBP continued in second place despite the defeat with 19 points after playing 10 matches.

In another match, debutants Lyallpur FC defeated Navy 1- 0 at the KPT Stadium.

After a goalless first-half, Lyallpur FC just scored the winner through Haider Ali in the 80th minute to climb three places into 12th position with eight points from 10 matches.

In the third match of the day at the KMC Stadium, HBL overcame Baloch FC 1-0. Muhammad Atif scored the goal in the 75th minute.
