Acting on complaints: Robbers, bike snatchers arrested

Seven bikes were recovered from them.

ISLAMABAD: The Ramna Police arrested suspected motorcycle thieves on Thursday and recovered seven bikes from them. The suspects were identified as Yasir, Aaqib and Kashif Masih, who confessed to their involvement in stealing motorcycles from the jurisdictions of the Margalla and Ramna Police Stations, according to the police. Meanwhile, officials of the Golra Police Station busted a gang of alleged robbers and recovered gold ornaments, laptops, LCDs, televisions, imported cloth, pistols and stolen items worth Rs2.65 million. The suspects were identified as Asif, Altaf Hussain, Imran, Iqbal and Hakmeen Khan. Further investigation is underway, the police said.
