Bollywood actor Imran Khan has revealed that his wife Avantika will feature in his forthcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. In the film, Imran plays a South Indian guy, who falls in love with a social worker, played by Kareena Kapoor.
“There is one half-second flash where you can see her, but that is because we know it is there,” Imran said Wednesday during the promotion of the film at a radio station here. “I don’t know if people [audiences] will catch [a glimpse of her] or not,” he added.
Avantika has featured in as many as three films of Imran, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and the actor confesses she brought good luck for the films. “It has been a good luck in a couple of films, but it’s a fun thing,” Imran, who married Avantika in 2011, after a 10-year relationship, said.
Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein will hit the theatres November 22.
