Heinous: Child killed for gold earrings
The arrested man's neighbours told the media that he was a drug addict.
BAHAWALPUR:
A man allegedly killed his five-year-old niece in Sahalan Basti, Lal De Goth on Tuesday night. Police said Matloob Shah killed his niece because he wanted her gold earrings. When her parents realised she was missing they looked for her and found the body in a field. Her earrings were missing. The Saddar SHO said the child’s father, Mohsin Shah, had filed a complaint against his brother-in-law. He said they had managed to arrest him and had found the earrings in his pocket. His neighbours told the media that he was a drug addict.
