Targeted killings: Alleged gangster, security guard shot dead
Nabi Bux police claimed to have apprehended an alleged target killer in a raid in Shoe Market.

An alleged gangster and a security guard were shot dead, while an alleged target killer was arrested by law enforcers on Wednesday.
A young man was found dead from near an empty plot within the limits of alFalah police station. According to the police, the deceased was a resident of the same area and had been kidnapped on Tuesday evening. Police officials said that the deceased was employed as a security guard at the KESC office in Malir.
An alleged gangster, Muhammad Younus, 35, was shot dead in Muhabbat Nagar within the limits of Malir City police station. Police officials said that deceased was affiliated with the Lyari gang war.
Nabi Bux police claimed to have apprehended an alleged target killer in a raid in Shoe Market. The arrested accused was identified as Imran, alias Japani. His unidentified companion managed to escape. SHO Aslam Pervez said that the accused was affiliated with a political party.
Meanwhile, Rangers have found five M-16 rifles and two machine guns from a graveyard in North Karachi. According to Rangers’ sources, the weapons were found buried in an artificial grave in Muhammad Shah graveyard. They added that the weapons belonged to the Nato forces.
