Lahore Bise: Inter Part 1 results announced
More than 124,000 candidates sat the exam in 2012- 2,600 more students than in 2013.

The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Tuesday announced the Intermediate (part 1) examination results. The percentage of students who passed dropped by almost six per cent compared to last year. The passing percentage for this year was 49.92 per cent. BISE officials said that 121,623 candidates sat the examination this year, and around 60,000 candidates passed. The percentage of candidates who cleared the exam last year was 55.84 per cent, 5.92 per cent more than the result announced this year. This year, the number of students who sat the exam was also less compared to the previous year. More than 124,000 candidates sat the exam in 2012- 2,600 more students than in 2013. Candidates can access details of their results by entering their roll numbers on the board’s website or by sending a text message to 80024 - the BISE Lahore’s official result SMS service. The results were available on the board’s website at 10am. The board has also offered details of candidates’ results to educational institutes, available at the board’s office, on CDs for Rs100.
