Violent crime: Two confess to raping woman
Tajik said police were looking for the rest of the accomplices.
BAHAWALPUR:
A woman was gang raped allegedly by five men in Bahawalpur on Sunday.
DPO Sohail Habib Tajik on Monday said two suspects had been arrested and had confessed to raping Madiha Bibi, not her real name.
The woman told police that her family knew one of the suspects. She said on Sunday, he invited her to his housewarming party where he and his four accomplices raped her at gunpoint.
She said the men also robbed her of her jewellery and valuables.
The DPO told The Express Tribune that police will have the DNA tests in few days.
Tajik said police were looking for the rest of the accomplices.
