Local bodies: Sindh Govt ready to hold LG elections
Shah said Sindh was the first province to have passed the Sindh LG Act-2013 and fulfil all pre-reqs for elections.

Sindh government is ready to hold the Local Government elections. All arrangements are being carried out as per directives of the Supreme Court, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Chairing a meeting at the CM House on Sunday, Shah said that his government was eager to hold elections at the earliest.
Shah said that Sindh was the first province to have passed the Sindh LG Act-2013 and fulfil all requisitions to hold the elections.
The CM said that it was the responsibility of the election commission now to conduct the local bodies’ elections. “The Sindh government is ready for the task and shall provide full assistance to the Election Commission of Pakistan,” he said.
