In cold blood: Man murdered ‘by friends’ over money

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

BAHAWALPUR:
A man was murdered here on Saturday night allegedly by his friends for not giving them money. Police said 22-year-old Muhammad Sohail, a resident of Bindra Pulli, worked in Dubai. He was visiting home during Eid holidays. On Saturday, police said, his friends Muhammad Nadeem and Rizwanullah strangled him when he refused to give them money. Police said Sohail’s body was found wrapped in a blanket by the police when it was being transported on a cart. Nadeem, Rizwan and the woman who was pushing the cart were arrested. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
