The Railways Department has restored train service from Pind Dadan Khan to Lala Musa via Malikwal, Divisional Superintendent Syed Munawar Shah said on Sunday. The first train will depart on Monday (today).
Shah said the service was being resumed on the request of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz city president Syed Shahid Hussain. Shah was visiting the Malikwal railway junction on Sunday, where he talked to reporters about the service. Hussain said people had faced a lot of problems after the closure of service on the route. The DS said that train service from Sargodha to Lala Musa via Malikwal would also be restored in a week.
