Agriculture development: All FATA dairy farm project underway
Under the first phase of All FATA Dairy Farms Project 50 animals would be distributed among farmers at main cities

According to official sources, the federal government will establish model dairy farms in different agencies and frontier regions of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to help meet quality milk and cream requirement of the people. An official on Friday said that these farms would be setup in South Waziristan, Khyber and Kurram agencies and Frontier Regions of DI Khan and Tank for which paper work has been prepared. He said that it would cost Rs200 million to materialise this project. Work on the first phase of All FATA Dairy Farms Project is in progress under which 50 animals would be distributed among farmers at main cities and towns including Khar, Inayat Kalli and Sadiqabad of Bajaur Agency. The government has already established diagnostic laboratories in Bajur agency equipped with qualified doctors and staff for treatment and vaccination of animals.
