Head-on collision: 5 of a family killed, 3 injured
The bus driver fled the scene.

Five people were killed in a collision between a bus and a rickshaw on Grot Road here on Thursday.
Police said eight members of family, residents of Officers’ Colony in Jauharabad, were riding a motorcycle rickshaw. They were on their way to attend a wedding when the rickshaw collided with an oncoming bus near Chak 15.
Five of them, later identified as Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Fayyaz, Noreen Bib, Farda Bibi and Lubna Bibi died on the spot. Nighat Bibi, Aasiya Bibi and Shazia Bibi were injured and taken to the Jauharabad DHQ hospital, where doctors treating them said that they were out of danger. The bus driver fled the scene.
