Caught at last: Target killer sent on remand
A court remanded on Tuesday an alleged target killer in connection with the murder of a doctor and 11 other men.

A district and sessions court remanded on Tuesday an alleged target killer in connection with the murder of a doctor and 11 other men. A judicial magistrate in district West, Kanize Fatima Zulfiqar, remanded the suspect, Shakeel alias Haddi, after he was produced before the court. SSP West Irfan Baloch had disclosed his arrest in a press conference at the Manghopir police station on October 14. The police said that Shakeel was involved in the killings of 12 men, including a doctor who was shot dead at his clinic in Orangi Town on October 7. Dr Muhammed Irfan Qureshi, 50, was at his clinic, Minhaj Medical Centre, in Orangi 1-C when two gunmen entered the clinic, fired at the doctor and fled into Qasba Colony.
