Flouting court orders: CCPO told to act against four SHOs
Petitioners submitted that the SHOs had refused to record their versions even after producing court orders.
LAHORE:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham on Monday directed the CCPO to take departmental action against four station house officers for not complying with court orders. The CCPO was told to take departmental action against Misri Shah, Nishtar Colony, Factory Area and Shadbagh SHOs. The court had previously directed these SHOs to record versions of petitioners in various cases but they had not complied. Then the petitioners had sought compliance of court orders and the SHOs were sent notices, but they still did not comply. The petitioners had submitted that the SHOs had refused to record their versions even after producing court orders to that effect. They had prayed to the court to take strict action against the SHOs.
