Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) administrator Saqib Ahmed Soomro has said that emergency control rooms have been established in 18 zones to lift offal on the occasion of Eidul Azha. In addition, KMC Complaint Cell 1339 will remain active on the three days of Eid. He was issuing directives to officers in connection with the arrangements made for the upcoming holidays. Municipal services senior director Masood Alam and other relevant officers were also present. The administrator said that control rooms and focal persons will ensure cleanliness in the city. The administrator asked the citizens to throw offal only at garbage points near their homes so that the same could be lifted on time.
