Govt vehicles: Owais Muzaffar to recover dept cars
Officials responsible would be taken to task.
KARACHI:
Sindh minister for local government Syed Owais Muzaffar has taken serious notice of the misuse and non-recovery of local councils and development authorities' vehicles from former officials. He directed the administrators, municipal commissioners and director-generals of the development authorities to recover all vehicles under illegal and unauthorised possession. Further, it has also been directed that FIRs be registered against those who are not handing over the vehicle within a week's time. In case of failure, the officials responsible would be taken to task and if any vehicle is found involved in criminal activities, they will be held personally responsible.
