Property dispute: ‘Woman beaten up by sister-in-law’

Police says they are waiting for the medico-legal report.

GAKHHAR MANDI:

A woman was allegedly beaten up by her sister-in-law and her two sons on Sunday. Police said Nazia Bibi told them that her sister-in-law Ruqayya Bibi, and her two sons, Zahid Ranjha and Muhammad Ali Ranjha, forcefully tried to make her leave her house in Gakhar Mandi.

She said her husband Arshadullah Ranjha lived abroad and that both women lived together. Nazia alleged that Ruqayya wanted the house to herself. She said her husband could not help her as he was not in the country. Police said they were waiting for the medico-legal report.
