Busted: Drug-smuggling bid foiled

Ata Muhammad was hiding a kilogram of heroin in his luggage which he was trying to sneak into Saudi Arabia.

RAWALPINDI: Two separate operations to smuggle drugs abroad were foiled by the Anti-Narcotics Force. According to officials, Ata Muhammad was hiding a kilogram of heroin in his luggage which he was trying to sneak into Saudi Arabia while Khizer Hayat was caught while trying to smuggle the same drug, filled in 100 capsules surgically inserted into his stomach, to Kuwait. Cases have been registered against the accused and investigations are underway.
