China-pak dialogue: A meeting of think tanks
It was stressed that people of China and Pakistan needed to build upon their warm relationship.
ISLAMABAD:
A delegation of the China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS), Beijing, led by its Deputy Director Dr Hu Hao on Sunday visited the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Islamabad. The delegation comprising CCCWS faculty members held a meeting with the research team of IPS and discussed a number of issues of common interest and concern. These included withdrawal of the US and allied forces from Afghanistan, post-2014 scenario, role of the United Nations and other international bodies, the Middle East and the prevalent situation in South Asia. It was stressed that the people of China and Pakistan needed to build upon their warm relationship and increase people-to-people contacts and interactions.
