Karachi blast leaves one dead, five injured
People at the medical center said they were receiving threats from extortionists.

One woman was killed and five people injured in an explosion that took place in Landhi Muzaffarabad Colony in Karachi late on Sunday, Express News reported.
Police officials said that the explosion which was caused by a cracker blast was motivated by an extortion case.
Two women, one employee and three siblings were injured in the blast which occurred near Zain Medical Center in the area. One of the women succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
"People who were injured were there to get medical check-ups," reported Express News correspondent Nadeem Ahmed.
