Fatal accident: Rangers van runs over woman

KARACHI: A 22-year-old woman, identified as Samia daughter of Saqib, died after the motorcycle she was riding on with a relative collided with a Rangers' van near Nazimabad Inquiry Office on Sunday. According to Gulbahar SHO Iqtidar Alam, the woman was seriously injured in the collision and was rushed to Civil Hospital, Karachi, where she succumbed to her injuries. Alam said that the body was handed over to her father after he refused to give the police permission to complete medico-legal formalities. The police impounded the motorcycle, continued Alam, adding that the family will be questioned when they visit the police station to collect it.
