Poor administration: PPLA demands transfer of principal
The members said that they would stage a protest demonstration if their demands were not met.
MULTAN:
Punjab Professors and Lecturers’ Association (PPLA) on Thursday demanded that the Government Emerson College (GEC) principal, Malik Abdul Jabbar, be transferred over poor administration of the college. In a meeting held here on Thursday, the PPLA office bearers alleged that the principal was responsible for victimising teachers. PPLA president Prof Khalid Hameed said Jabbar was ineligible for the post of principal as he was not ‘senior enough’. The members said that they would stage a protest demonstration if their demands were not met.
