She gave credit to her critics for honing her acting skills and making her the refined actor that she is today. She proclaimed, “They [critics] are the ones who transformed me into what I am today.”
Brimming with optimism, she said, “One can always dream about Oscars and winning them … I am hopeful that my future projects will be considered for a nomination.”
On the question of how her personal life has unfolded, Reema said it is nothing less than a fairytale. “It’s a story of a girl from Pakistan who entered the world of stardom. The story has taken a U-turn for me as I have entered a new phase in my life,” she said.
As far as crossing the border to B-town goes, Reema claimed that her ardent love for Pakistan made her decline opportunities that came her way. She explained, “It was often me who refused to go to India and act in Bollywood because I was so patriotic.”
Striking a perfect balance between her professional and personal life, Reema believes that her “marriage is an example for all”, especially those in the film industry. Sharing her idea of how to lead a successful married life, Reema suggested that one must prioritise: “Bridging the gap between the two [work and private life] to some extent is how I have balanced my life,” she said. “I took the initiative of getting married, while I was at the peak of my career. Initially, I wasn’t big on the idea of tying the knot. However, now, I believe that every girl should take this step. Experience teaches you everything,” the actor added.
Reema jovially exclaimed that she is adored by her in-laws. “Sab ye kehtay hain, Syed gharanay ki bahu, Reema — pyaari bahu aur pyaari bhabi hai” (Everyone says that Reema, daughter-in-law of the Syed household is a lovely daughter-in-law and sister-in-law), she said.
Rejecting news about her being pregnant,
she said that she fearlessly announced her marriage and if she was ever to be pregnant, she’d do the same.

My GOD!! Such a great loss for Hindi Cinema!
@Karachiwala: its currently pak on its knees in front of IMF and west... i really dont get u guys....still amusing ... haha :p
I agree with you Reema ji whatever you have said except “My film revived cinema in these times … it paved the way for cinema today,”
@LaLakiMKaa no wonder if indians can get to their knees to get Meera or veena malik casted in bollywood ..there is no doubt they must have asked Reema. But for your nightmares to come true, she declined! And i can expect that from her..because she belong from a normal and middle class breed of Pakistan that puts moral values first than monetary values. you should svck it up on this hard but simple fact.
She declined the offer from India...
If she declined the offer then I am michael jackson alive
The Problem with pakistani people is conspiracy and Lies...If she can tell me what was the offer made to her..we people should not tell the lie...Whenever our actor cant do better she just tell lie and as far as bollywood goes..wvwn if they would not have got any offer ..they would tell they are patriotic..so they wont work......so this means......Ali-zafar...veena malik are less patriotic...lol..z....Even if shaan would have done ghazini..he would have been nowwhere in bollywood....what has happened to men who acted in the movie ghazini..he is today working in south Indian films..though he is a good actor..Indian film industry is sheer professional..It doesn't mean that ali zafar has done a one movie with yash chopra so he will get it again and again...he will have to earn this hard success in Indian cinema...This is not pakistani cinema of maula jatt, vaishi jatt, gujjar and gandassa....
