Economic relations: Pakistan, Denmark to strengthen ties

Iqbal urged industrious and honest entrepreneurs to play a positive role for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Denmark’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jesper Moller called on Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal here on Tuesday to discuss bilateral economic and political relations between the two countries. Iqbal said that the federal government is determined to solve the economic instability, unemployment and other problems being faced in Pakistan, through good governance and commitment to reforms. He said that the present government is determined to consolidate the steady improvement in economic stability through the expanded tax system. Iqbal urged industrious and honest entrepreneurs to play a positive role for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He said the government’s focus is to solve energy crisis and to take appropriate measures for meeting the water crisis. He invited Danish dairy industry to set up joint ventures in Pakistan.
