DG KHAN: ASI Irshad and SHO Ghulam Mujtaba Gurmani were killed in an exchange of fire with robbers in Saddar area of DG Khan, Express News reported Monday.

There were reportedly two robberies in the area this morning.

The robbers fled the scene after the incident.

Many police officers in the country had come under attack while some have lost their lives while on duty.

Earlier today, a bomb targeting a police van killed two police officers and injured eight in the Budh Bher area of Peshawar.

On September 7, four men on two motorcycles had fired on a picket set up by the police after a robbery. Two of them were killed when the police returned their fire.
