Balochistan relief: Punjab MPAs give 21 truckloads of supplies

A 14-member delegation of Punjab Assembly members, after their joint session with members of the Balochistan Assembly visited earthquake affected areas in the province.

The delegation of MPAs headed by Shuja Khanzada and including Ahmed Ali Khan Dreshak, Ayesha Javed, Engineer Qamarul Islam Raja, Faiza Ahmed Malik, Muhammad Arif Abbasi, Murad Rass, Qazi Adnan Fareed, Ramesh Singh Arora, Saadia Sohail Rana, Sardar Vickas Hassan Mokal, Syed Abdul Aleem, Syed Tariq Yaqoob and Syed Waseem Akthar oversaw relief activities and distributed items to earthquake survivors.


Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani and Sardar Atif Mazari handed over 21 trucks of relief goods on Punjab government’s behalf.

The Punjab government has also announced that it would dispatch three truck loads of relief goods to Balochistan daily. “The relief goods would be dispatched from Rahim Yar Khan,” Gorchani said while talking to newsmen in Hub.
