Maj Gen Bajwa claimed that militants had fired twice on troops in the Dandar area of Kech District on Friday and at least five times the day before in Mashkay, an area worst hit by the September 24 earthquake.
He added that the attacks had claimed the lives of six security personnel while six others sustained injuries.
Condemning the attacks, DG ISPR said that the security forces will continue to work to provide relief to the people.

Meanwhile, 370 tonnes of relief goods including tents, blankets have reached the affected areas for distribution.
Talking about the relief efforts, the DG ISPR said that at least 2,000 people had received medical attention.

@Concerned man, Lal: Dear Indians, stop meddling in Balochistan, North Waziristan, and Karachi, you have been exposed countless times. What do Baloch people want, do you even know? Like all Pakistanis, we want to live in peace and free from violence, especially in these hard times.
Militants who attack aid convoys, bomb masjids, preach hatred against our ethnic brothers (Pukhtoons), threaten and kill fellow Pakistanis, kidnap NGOs, and attack our army are the number one enemies of Baloch people. This proves these militants have no compassion for the suffering and lack any legitimacy.
Accept full demands by baloch people, problem solved
Just the other day, the baloch senator had an article in ET praising the balochs for their struggle against the Centre... one should only reply to fire with fire, when it comes to these militants.
Six soldiers have lost their lives so far in relief operations but if you visit the twitter world then Our Army is being bashed in an unabated manner by so called liberals. All those who are criticizing our Army are either living abroad or in their cozy homes forgetting all the sacrifices made by our Army.
Was it even necessary to make such a statement ??
Good to hear that Army will continue the relief effort even when they are been attacked and killed by BLA. Does our army has the orders not to fire back at BLA? How come all the casualties are on the army side only?
Good work done by Pakistan Army. Keep it up!
The militants cannot become obstacle in the relief work undertaken by Pakistan Army.
Regret that security personnel died and injured by the militants.
The militants should be wiped out by all means.
Why don't Army just kill these militants. No need for any consent or check. On the other hand, look at Baluchistan's CM, he even not condemning such attacks when there is no one else to help the flood affectees. Never been a fan of Musharaf but now realizing perhaps his governance was better in all matters be it managing fragile economy or handling such militants.
