From hot-hued jeans to mini chain-handle bags, the summer has witnessed a set of fashion fads. They came, we saw, and they withered away. But some trends are here to say; and nude pumps top our list of the timeless and fabulous. Now in their third season, nude shoes have been a constant on the runway, shoe outlets, A-list events and premieres.

With or without the platform, nude pumps have gone from hip and trendy to classic and chic. Whether you wear them to style up a subtle outfit or tone down a vibrant one, nude pumps are a must in your shoe closet. Not only do they look good with both casual and formal wear of any colour, but they also define your legs and make them long and thin. And guess what? They’re pocket-friendly! Buying one good pair of nudes will save you the trouble of splurging on shoes to pair up with every outfit in your wardrobe.

Nude pumps are also a royal trademark. The Duchess of Cambridge, pairs them up with both prints and plains. Angelina Jolie looks nice and comfy in nude ballet flats. Sarah Ovais, clad in a Sania Muskatiya creation, is seen wearing nude peep toe shoes and enhances them with a neon orange nail colour. We love the smile and nude court shoes that designer, Pernia Qureshi is wearing. Anum Akram, a guest at Seedlings Karachi premiere, jazzes up her look with nude peep toes and a turquoise nail colour. We spotted one of our fav young designers, Sania Maskatiya, wearing nude peep toe shoes at the TDAP fashion showcase. Like these trend-setters, you can work nude pumps any day, any time. So, hop on the bandwagon for the nudes!
