The Coca Cola Company on Wednesday evening revealed a beautiful coffee table book titled Coke Studio – Sound of the Nation at a press conference held to launch its latest season.
Encapsulating the music platform’s six years in Pakistan, Markings in collaboration with photographers and artists compiled a coffee table book which echoes the “rhythm, harmony, texture, language and melody of Pakistan”. With quotes from artists like Amitabh Bachchan and Ali Zafar, as well as colourful prints of fan art, the book is a visual treat.
General Manager of the Coca Cola Export Corporation Pakistan Rizwan U Khan, tells The Express Tribune, "[The book] is a photographic journey of the finest pictorial collection, quotes and narration of our rich musical heritage celebrating the essence of Coke Studio."
"The book celebrates the people and diverse culture of Pakistan as embodied through the music of Coke Studio; cultivating a sense of national pride amongst Pakistan."
