Karachi Metropolitan Corporation administrator Saqib Ahmed Soomro has said that arrangements for fumigation, ambulance service and veterinary doctors have been made to facilitate the citizens visiting the makeshift cattle market at Super Highway.
He added that a central control room had also been established for the supervision of the arrangements and to redress any complaints.
Soomro was addressing a meeting attended by the Municipal Services senior director, Masood Alam, veterinary health and medical department senior director and other relevant officials. He directed the officials to ensure thorough fumigation around the cattle market so that the cattle and citizens could be saved from contracting any potential diseases.
