Development Programmes: Denmark to provide $50m assistance
The programme will support peace building, livelihoods, education and enhance human rights and gender equality.

Denmark and Pakistan officially signed the second phase of development programme under which the Danish government will extend $50 million help to Pakistan during the next three years. The 2013-2016 programme consists has two main components. The first is designed to provide support to peace building, livelihoods and education in K-P, Fata and Balochistan. The second focuses on enhancing democratisation, human rights and gender equality.
