In a second drone strike within 24 hours, at least three suspected militants were killed on Monday when a remotely-piloted US drone struck a village in the Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency.
The attack occurred in Land Muhammad Khel village, 15 kilometres west of the agency headquarters of Miramshah.
“The US drone fired two missiles at a militant compound, killing three suspected militants and injuring two others,” a security official told The Express Tribune. However, he would not say anything about the nationalities of the dead.
On Sunday, at least six suspected militants were killed in a US drone attack in the Dargamandi area of North Waziristan Agency.
The foreign ministry condemned the latest strike, reiterating that continued predator attacks were casting a negative impact on bilateral ties with the United States.
Continuing US drone strikes despite PM’s address at the UN shows the government has no option other than customary condemnation of strikes it has publicly declared a breach of its sovereignty.

Afghan war is not our war,it has been imposed under planned conspiracy. After 9/11,they invasion and aubsequently used drones .
Our leadership should consider the matter, deep rooted matter. Cospiracy is being hatched by concerned quarters, they are sabotaging the sincer efforts being made by the newly elected leadership.
It is wrong to say, drones are used to finish insurgency or against terrists hidden in atonomous tribal areas in fact they want to stand unbridgeable distance between taliban war lords and Pakistani leadership and vital weapon being used for this purpose.
"Continuing US drone strikes despite PM’s address at the UN shows the government has no option other than customary condemnation of strikes it has publicly declared a breach of its sovereignty."
What sovereignty? Majority of the lands under attack by drones are shown under Pakistan on world maps, but does Pakistan really have sovereignty on these lands? Not even 50% of "Pakistan" is under direct control of Pakistan's Government. When Pakistan itself cannot control these lands, what else can they do besides "protesting" against drone strikes just to appease the Pakistani public.
Not understand able and acceptable as well, one hand, being supported the negotiation and other hand, they sabotage the on going peace process.
hypocrisy,hypocrisy,
"No Option"???? How about cleaning out those famous "Safe Havens" so that drone strikes would no longer be necessary? (OOPS, can't offend those ASSETS that might be useful in meddling in other countries affairs!)
