We recently spotted TV presenter Sara Ovais at the fashion showcase organised for Expo Pakistan 2013 by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. Here is a breakdown of her ethereal look for the evening:

Hair

We are in love with her hair. For a similar look, spray your hair generously with a volume enhancing spray. Start by backcombing your hair a little on the crown. Now bring the hair on the front over the backcombed hair and pin loosely. Sara’s loosely curled ends are a winner!

Outfit

Sara looks oh-so-chic in a halter neck print dress by Shehla Chatoor. The floor-length outfit looks flattering on her. Get your custom-made outfit from Shehla or go through high-street brands for a similar cut.

Make-up

Sara’s make-up is a breath of fresh air — light yet glamourous. Line your eyes by Rimmel’s Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner (Rs1,100) and then smudge Maybelline’s Colossal Kajal (Rs375) on the either corners of your eye. Now apply Maybelline’s Falsies Mascara (Rs1,800) on your lashes for well-defined eyes like the host. For those rosy cheeks, go for The Body Shop’s All-in-one Blusher in Ginger (Rs1,800) and apply Mac’s Pink Nouveau lipstick (Rs2,000).

Accessories and Shoes

How gorgeous are those long multi-chain necklaces from Shehla’s Soigne collection? For alternatives, check out racks at Sentiments and Accessorize (Rs2,000 and above). We also like the assorted gold metal bangles, silver chain bracelet and those black stud earrings (under Rs2,000). Her nude patent peep toes look great. You can find a similar pair at Charles & Keith (Rs4,000 and above) or Nine West (Rs6,000 and above).

I have got to say, as an Indian, Sarah is one of the better looking, elegant Pakistanis I have met. She exudes confidence, but is still a very caring individual. This comes out in her style and her look, as well. Sarah Ovais: Inspiring a generation of Pakistanis.
