Fashion Police: Totally Ripped!

While King Khan is known to make style statements with his dapper suits on occasion, one cannot say the same for his wife Gauri Khan. The woman behind Red Chillies Entertainments was a shocker at recent Bolly-party. From her messy hair to the granny wedges, everything was an utter disaster.

Hair and make-up

When we hear the word party, it’s hard not to assume that it means dressing up quite a bit with a nice blow-dry and refreshing make-up. But in Gauri’s case, it probably means getting out of bed and hitting the scene, because that’s exactly how she looks with that untamed, untidy mess of hair and barely any make-up. The only colour that we can witness on her skin is the fuchsia pink nail polish, which looks pretty tacky.

Outfit

B-town celebs are expected to be trendy, so we’re not mad at Gauri for wanting to wear a pair of faded, ripped jeans. But we don’t think they are ripped from all the right places. The white tank top is so sheer that we can totally make out her innerwear and we believe that oversized plaid shirt and belt were mistakenly picked from SRK’s old DDLJ wardrobe.

Accessories and Shoes

Seriously what is up with those wedges?! While she is not wearing too many accessories apart from a couple of white rings on both hands, we feel even an extra watch wouldn’t have really made much of difference in uplifting her look. Her red faux snake-skin Alma bag is a complete no-no.

Bail out!

Preity Zinta



B-town cutie Preity Zinta kept it casual yet classy in a pair of ripped jeans and a contrasting electric blue top while promoting her film, Ishkq in Paris. With a nice curly hairdo and nude heels, the actor was a treat for the eyes.

Anushka Sharma



Anushka is always a refreshing treat in terms of fashion — be it on the red carpet or a random B-town party. The gorgeous ‘bindaas’ actor gives some relaxing vibes in a pair of ripped white jeans and an abstract-patterned olive green top. Gauri should definitely take some pointers from Anushka.

Deepika Padukone



Actor Deepika Padukone is the perfect example of how to party in ripped jeans. The sultry diva throws the ball out of the park in this edgy look. The black blazer, black heels and red hot lips add the perfect touches to an otherwise casual outfit.
