Cross-border fraternising: Former Indian chief justice visits LHC

LAHORE: Former chief justice of Delhi and Madras High Courts Justice (r) Ajit Prakash Shah visited the Lahore High Court on Saturday.

He gave a lecture on 'International Human Rights Law, Indian Perspective and Judicial Globalisation'. Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and other LHC judges were present.

Justice Shah discussed the use of international human rights law by the Indian Supreme Court. Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial welcomed the Indian judge and briefed him about the restoration of the LHC building.
